Celiac Sprue Association Welcomes Benefactor Member Gluten Free Emergency Kits The Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) announces the addition of Gluten Free Emergency Kits as its newest Benefactor Member. Through their generous support, CSA Benefactor Members further the CSA mission of helping individuals with celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis and their families worldwide through information, education, support and research.
Gluten Free Emergency Kits is a sister company of Mixes from the Heartland, a CSA Recognition Seal company. Gluten Free Emergency Kits has developed complete glutenfree emergency food kits that supply the necessary ingredients to provide meals for a family of six people. Meats are USDA approved, commercially canned and require no refrigeration. Meals and mixes are manufactured by Mixes from the Heartland and distributed by Gluten Free Emergency Kits. A wide variety of kits are available including 24 hour, 72 hour, 30 day and 1 year kits. The purchaser of the kit needs only to add water to have savory, gluten-free meals that can be consumed by the whole family. Kits have a five year shelf life. A five day “camping kit” is under development. Gluten Free Emergency Kits will donate to the Celiac Sprue Association through its affiliates program. Visit their website at www.glutenfreeemergencykits.com to learn more about kit contents and ordering.
